Marc Deldin grew up in St. Clair Shores and was a 3rd generation graduate of Lake Shore High School. After graduating with high honors from Western Michigan University, Marc returned to the Detroit area to attend law school at Wayne State University, where he graduated with honors.
Going into the practice of law was a natural decision for Marc, who grew up in a family where public service and hard work were modeled and highly valued. During law school, Marc served as a law clerk at the Findling Law Firm in Royal Oak, and was hired as an associate attorney in the firm’s Insolvency Group upon his admission to the bar.
Marc’s work is respected not just by clients and colleagues, but by his adversaries. In the first large file that he received as a new attorney, Marc impressed the opposing party so much that they hired him as their general counsel one year after the matter concluded.
Marc left the Findling Law Firm and became general counsel for Boulevard & Trumbull Towing, and several affiliated companies in the transportation, real estate, construction, and aggregate industries. Serving as general counsel was invaluable to Marc’s development as an effective attorney, as he learned firsthand how operations are affected by legal, political, and economic forces.
Marc decided to open his own firm because he enjoys the client contact and is energized by the challenge of advocating for his clients, whether in negotiation or litigation. Marc is able to keep his finger on the pulse of his clients’ matters at all times, from start to finish. He particularly enjoys working with small to midsize businesses and helping them grow and thrive in the community of Southeastern Michigan.
When Marc has free time, he enjoys spending it with his wife and daughter and their two beagles at their home in Grosse Pointe.
