Teri graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 2005. Since graduation, she has represented clients throughout Southeastern Michigan, in state and federal courts, in arbitrations, mediations, facilitations, and before administrative agencies.
Believing that a well-rounded perspective on the law would help her excel as an attorney, Teri has represented employees, public labor unions, government, and employers in all phases of litigation.
Teri was selected by Michigan Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Rising Star is a designation given to less than 2.5% of eligible Michigan attorneys. In 2013, she was honored by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as an “Up & Coming Attorney” because of her passion for law and advocacy abilities. She has also been listed as one of Michigan’s Top Attorneys in Hour Magazine for years 2014 and 2015. Other honors include an award for Exceptional Contributions and an award for Commendable Service from the Social Security Administration.
Teri is a former member of the board of directors of Turning Point Macomb and the State Bar of Michigan Public Outreach Committee. She is also a former member of the UAW, where she worked as a fork lift operator during college.
Teri became a lawyer to make a difference in society. And she recognizes law, as one of the fundamental avenues for change.
In her spare time, Teri enjoys travel, music, reading and family time.
